Kehinde Amusa delivered another outstanding all-round performance as Nigeria defeated Malawi by 46 runs to secure their fourth victory at the ongoing Kwibuka Women’s Cricket Tournament in Kigali, Rwanda.
Malawi won the toss and opted to field first at the Gahanga A Cricket Oval on Tuesday.
Nigeria posted a total of 107 all out in 19.3 overs, with key contributions from Lilian Ude (21 runs off 16 balls), Eguakun Omosigo (19 off 21), and Amusa (16 off 25).

In response, Malawi were restricted to 61 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Amusa, who had previously been named Player of the Match in two consecutive games, once again impressed with the ball, returning figures of 4-0-18-4 to dismantle Malawi’s batting order.
Her efforts earned her a third Player of the Match award as Nigeria recorded their fourth win in seven matches.
Nigeria will face the Ugandan women’s team on Wednesday.
Nine teams are participating in the tournament, which is held in honour of the victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
