Juventus clinched a top-four finish in Serie A with a dramatic 2-1 win over relegation-threatened Venezia on Sunday, sealing their place in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
The Bianconeri, under interim boss Paolo Montero, came from behind at the Allianz Stadium to grab all three points in a match that tested the nerves of the home crowd.
Venezia took a surprise lead midway through the first half through a well-taken strike by Gianluca Busio, putting pressure on a Juventus side that had struggled for consistency in recent weeks.
However, the Old Lady responded with determination. Federico Chiesa levelled the score just before half-time with a curling effort that left the Venezia goalkeeper rooted.
The decisive moment came in the 88th minute when substitute Arkadiusz Milik rose highest to head home a corner, sparking jubilant scenes among the home fans and confirming Juventus’ return to Europe’s elite competition after a challenging season.

With the win, Juventus moved to fourth place with 72 points, four clear of fifth-placed Atalanta with one match remaining.

The result leaves Venezia in a precarious position, needing a win in their final fixture and results elsewhere to avoid the drop.
