Team Nigeria finished the championships with three bronze medals and several performances that earned continental recognition.

Olopade said the achievements reflected the steady growth of aquatics sports in the country and improved competitive standards.

He praised the athletes, coaches, administrators, and federation officials for representing Nigeria with distinction.

“This performance is another strong indication that Nigerian sport is rising across several disciplines.

“We are proud of the federation, athletes, coaches, and stakeholders whose efforts delivered medals and recognition in Algeria.

“Winning medals is commendable, but being recognised as one of the fastest-developing sports highlights Nigeria’s progress,” Olopade added.
