The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended warm congratulations to Muslims across the country as they mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In her goodwill message to citizens to commemorate the occasion, also known as Sallah, Mrs Tinubu urged Nigerians to embrace the values of sacrifice and generosity.

“On this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all our Muslim faithful across the nation.
“This is a period for deep reflection on the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, compassion and faith. It is also a time to demonstrate kindness and generosity. I encourage you to remember your neighbours and extend a hand of love and support, particularly to the less privileged,” she said.
The First Lady further called on Nigerians to offer prayers for peace, stability, and the continued progress of the nation.
“As we celebrate, let us also pray for our dear country for lasting peace, stability and development. Eid Mubarak!” she added.
