Victor Moses Signs One-Year Deal with Kaysar FC

Nigerian international Victor Moses has signed a one-year contract with Kaysar FC of Kazakhstan, marking the 35-year-old midfielder’s 11th club in a long and distinguished playing career.

Based in Kyzylorda, Kaysar FC described Moses as a player whose wealth of experience at top European clubs will bring both quality and leadership to the squad.

“Kaysar Football Club is proud to confirm the signing of experienced midfielder Victor Moses. The former Nigerian international will represent the club in the upcoming season,” the statement read.

The club highlighted Moses’ ability to guide younger players while contributing his on-field expertise. “Victor is well known for his time at several top European clubs. His arrival reflects our ambition for the season ahead. We are confident his skill and leadership will positively influence the team’s growth and development,” the club added.

Moses, who is comfortable playing as both a winger and a wing-back, began his European career with Crystal Palace in 2007, moving to Wigan Athletic in 2010. He later joined Chelsea in 2012, where he was part of the squad that won the 2016/17 Premier League title.

Loan spells followed at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham United, Fenerbahçe, Inter Milan, and Spartak Moscow, before he joined Spartak permanently from 2021 to 2024. His most recent club was Luton Town in England’s EFL League One, which released him in June 2025 at the end of his contract.

On the international stage, Moses earned 38 caps for Nigeria between 2012 and 2018, scoring 12 goals. He played a key role in Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations triumph and featured in the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups.

Kaysar FC, founding members of the Kazakhstan Premier League, have a proud history, including Kazakhstan Cup victories in 1998 and 2019 and a fourth-place league finish in 1998. The club has missed only three seasons in the top flight due to relegation.
