Tems to Headline Inaugural FIFA Club World Cup Final Show

Nigerian singer Tems is set to headline the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show, scheduled to take place at the MetLife Stadium in New York on 13 July.

According to a statement from Global Citizen, the producers of the show, the star-studded performance will be broadcast live and free of charge on DAZN.com, enabling fans worldwide to tune in.

Tems will be joined on stage by Colombian star J Balvin and American pop sensation Doja Cat, forming an international line-up for the landmark event.

Expressing her excitement, Tems emphasised the significance of the performance.

“We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund,” she said.

“I can’t wait. See you at the FIFA Club World Cup final!”

The show forms part of a wider campaign to raise awareness and support for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund a collaborative initiative spearheaded by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Global Citizen co-founder Hugh Evans.

The fund seeks to raise $100 million to broaden access to quality education and football for children around the world.

Describing the performance as “a moment to celebrate football and the unifying power of music,” Tems underscored the event’s dual emphasis on entertainment and global impact.
