In yet another career milestone, Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema has earned a new certification in France, as his hit single ‘Charm’ achieves platinum status.
Originally released as part of his debut album ‘Raves & Roses’, Charm becomes Rema’s third single to receive platinum certification from SNEP (Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique), following ‘Soundgasm’ and ‘Dumebi’.
The track also marks his fourth overall certification in France, where his global hit ‘Calm Down’ holds diamond status. Notably, Calm Down is among just nine songs to have achieved a diamond certification from SNEP.
This latest accolade cements Rema’s growing influence in Europe and underscores his role as one of the leading figures in the global rise of Afrobeats.

With four SNEP-certified songs, Rema is now one of the most decorated Nigerian artists in the French market. He is currently scheduled to perform at the 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in Paris, further highlighting his international appeal.
Among Nigerian artists, Rema ranks just behind Burna Boy, who leads with nine SNEP certifications, making him the most certified Nigerian artist in France to date.
The year 2025 has already proven eventful for Rema. He is currently on his ‘HEIS’ world tour, which has included a headline show at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York.
Earlier this year, Rema earned his first Grammy Award nomination for Best Global Album with his sophomore project ‘HEIS’. He also secured a nomination for Best International Act at the 2025 BET Awards.
At the 17th Headies Awards, Rema received 11 nominations and won two awards Best Afrobeats Album and Best Album adding to his impressive list of accolades.
