The Nasarawa State Government will today, Wednesday, host President Bola Tinubu as he inaugurates a series of legacy projects executed by Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration.
Among the key projects slated for commissioning is the ₦16 billion Lafia Flyover/Underpass, a signature infrastructure development aimed at improving traffic flow in the state capital.
President Tinubu, accompanied by Governor Sule, senior government officials, and several party stakeholders, is also expected to inaugurate the newly built multi-million-naira State Secretariat and the Shendam Dual Carriageway both part of the administration’s drive for infrastructural transformation.

The President will subsequently pay a courtesy visit to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage (rtd), at his palace.
He will thereafter proceed to commission a fleet of agricultural tractors, as well as revisit the Shendam Dual Carriageway and the ultra-modern State Secretariat complex, both situated along Shendam Road.
The presidential visit will conclude with a town hall meeting with stakeholders, to be held at the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, Government House, also located on Shendam Road.
