Iran has warned Gulf states that any renewed United States military strike on its territory would trigger retaliatory attacks on critical energy infrastructure across the region, according to officials familiar with the discussions.
The warning reportedly followed recent comments by President Donald Trump, who threatened possible military action against Iran’s energy facilities and infrastructure.
According to sources, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi conveyed the message during separate talks with his counterparts in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, as well as Pakistan’s army chief.

The sources said Araqchi urged Gulf nations to use their influence with Washington to prevent further military action, warning that any attack on Iran would provoke strikes on US assets and strategic energy facilities across the Gulf.
“We are ready to retaliate, but finding a diplomatic solution is the best way to avoid wider escalation and destruction across the region,” Araqchi was quoted as telling regional leaders.
The diplomatic efforts come as Iran seeks to deter further military action by highlighting the potential consequences for regional security and global energy supplies.
In response, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is reported to have urged President Trump to delay any military action, resume negotiations and pursue a diplomatic settlement.
While calling for dialogue, Saudi Arabia also stressed that it would defend its territory against any attack.
Iranian officials warned that any future strike on the country could target energy facilities, electricity networks, transport infrastructure and oil installations across the Gulf, raising concerns about the potential impact on global oil markets.
