Hamas handed over the bodies of three more hostages to Israel on Sunday, officials said, under the fragile ceasefire that followed the two‑year conflict.
The coffins were transferred from Gaza to Israeli authorities via the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Israeli prime minister’s office confirmed. The remains are believed to be among the 11 hostages whose bodies Israel is still seeking under the terms of the truce.
Under the ceasefire agreement brokered in Washington by the Donald Trump administration, Hamas was required to hand over the remains of 28 deceased hostages in exchange for the bodies of 360 Palestinian militants killed during the war. Prior to Sunday’s transfer, Hamas had already delivered 17 of the bodies.

Israel has expressed concern that the process is moving too slowly and is pressing Hamas to accelerate the hand‑overs. Hamas, meanwhile, said wartime destruction and logistical obstacles in Gaza have complicated the process.
While the ceasefire has largely held since 10 October, sporadic violence continues to flare. The transfer of remains, though a sensitive humanitarian issue, remains one of the most significant confidence-building measures between the two sides.
