Apple has unveiled a new website called Snapshot on Apple, a curated hub that brings together content from celebrities across Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Podcasts. The platform aims to offer fans a seamless way to explore the work of their favourite artists, actors, and athletes from a single location.
Launched quietly on 29 April 2025, Snapshot features a horizontally scrolling carousel with profiles of 36 well-known public figures. These include global icons such as Billie Eilish, Lionel Messi, Taylor Swift, and Serena Williams. Each profile contains a brief biography and links to the celebrity’s media offerings, including songs, films, and podcast appearances, all accessible through Apple’s services.
The initiative is designed to enhance user engagement by simplifying access to Apple’s vast entertainment library through the lens of prominent personalities. However, the rollout has not been without criticism.

Early users have pointed out several usability limitations. Notably, Snapshot lacks a search function, and the carousel’s slow, automatic scrolling makes navigation cumbersome. Additionally, there is no apparent categorisation of celebrities, with musicians, athletes, and actors all presented in a single, mixed stream.
Despite these initial concerns, Snapshot on Apple reflects Apple’s ongoing effort to integrate its entertainment ecosystem and promote discovery through a personality-driven interface. While the website in its current form may require further refinement, it signals a strategic move by Apple to leverage celebrity influence in connecting audiences with its diverse content offerings.
