The Progressive Governors Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
The endorsement was proposed by the forum’s chairman, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, and seconded by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, signalling strong unity among APC governors in support of President Tinubu’s bid for a second term.
Speaking on behalf of the forum, Uzodimma reaffirmed the governors’ commitment to mobilising resources and securing victory for Tinubu in their respective states.

The governors expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and reforms, pledging to deliver their states in the forthcoming elections.
This endorsement follows similar expressions of support from other APC regional leaders, including North Central governors, who recently passed a vote of confidence in Tinubu’s administration, commending his developmental achievements and inclusive governance.
The backing from the Progressive Governors Forum further strengthens Tinubu’s position as the APC’s flagbearer for 2027.
