Renowned Nigerian Fuji musician, Adewale Ayuba, has joined fellow citizens in mourning the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, whom he described as a distinguished leader, patriot, soldier, and statesman.
Buhari passed away on Sunday, 13th July, at the age of 82.
In an interview on Tuesday, Ayuba reflected on the late president’s legacy, stating that he would be remembered for the positive impact he had on the nation. He praised Buhari’s lifelong dedication to Nigeria’s growth and development.

“Death is inevitable. Muhammadu Buhari played his part in service to our nation. May his soul rest in peace.
He was a significant President, soldier, and statesman. He was a strong man, optimistic about the future of our country, and determined to give his best. I truly appreciate his efforts and commitment,” Ayuba said.
The singer also offered prayers for the repose of Buhari’s soul and for comfort for his family and the Nigerian people during this time of national mourning.
