Nigerian blogger and entertainer, Tunde Ednut has officially become a U.S. citizen and received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from former President Joe Biden. The award recognises individuals who have dedicated over 4,000 hours of volunteer service to their communities
Ednut shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of his American passport and the award plaque. In his caption, he expressed gratitude, writing, “Congratulations to me!!! Not just a Citizen Oo! I also got recognition from the President of America. I am highly honored and blessed.”
The announcement has garnered congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities, including Tiwa Savage, Davido, Cubana Chief Priest, and Destiny Etiko.
This recognition adds to Ednut’s previous accolade in January 2025, when he received a Certificate of Recognition from Prince George’s County, Maryland, for his impact in the African diaspora community.
