Tinubu Congratulates Governor Abiodun on 65th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday extended congratulations to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum on his 65th birthday, as well as the sixth anniversary of his administration on 29 May.

In a tribute, President Tinubu commended Governor Abiodun’s leadership, describing his six-year tenure as exemplary, marked by significant progress in infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, agriculture, food security, and social development.

Tinubu observed that under Abiodun’s transparent and inclusive governance, Ogun has become a symbol of stability and innovation, emerging as a prime destination for investment and a state with steadily increasing internally generated revenue.

“Your steadfast dedication to public service and the advancement of our great nation remains a cornerstone in our shared quest for national renewal and prosperity,” the President remarked.

He also lauded Abiodun’s role at the regional level as Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum, noting his efforts in promoting unity, dialogue, and regional development.

“As you celebrate this dual milestone, I join your family, colleagues, and the good people of Ogun State in honouring your accomplishments and legacy of service. May the coming years bring you continued good health, happiness, and lasting peace,” President Tinubu concluded.
