President Bola Tinubu congratulated Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation, on his 60th birthday on 27 May.
The President praised Amaechi’s significant contributions to Rivers State as a former Speaker and two-term Governor, noting his dedicated service to the state, according to a statement by Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President’s spokesman.

During his tenure, Amaechi also served as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
He was Minister of Transportation in President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet for eight years.
Tinubu prayed for continued good health and God’s grace for the former minister and wished him success in his political career.
