President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Kaduna State on a one-day official visit to inaugurate a series of developmental projects executed by the administration of Governor Uba Sani.
The President landed at the Mando Military Airport at exactly 1:27 p.m. and was warmly received by a high-powered delegation, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Tajudeen Abbas; Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin; Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani; and the Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
Other dignitaries present at the airport to welcome the Nigerian leader included Governors Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), and Nasir Idris (Kebbi), as well as members of the Federal Executive Council and other senior government officials.

On arrival, President Tinubu was accorded a military guard of honour by officers of the Nigerian Air Force, accompanied by a ceremonial performance from the Air Force band.
The president’s visit will include the formal commissioning of several major projects, among them the Institute of Skill Acquisition and Development in Riga Chukun, a 300-bed specialist hospital at Millennium Square, and 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses for intra-city transportation.
These projects are part of Governor Uba Sani’s administration’s broader efforts to enhance infrastructure, healthcare, and public transport in the state.
Speaking ahead of the President’s arrival, Governor Sani had said:
“We are deeply honoured by the President’s visit. These projects reflect our commitment to improving the quality of life for all Kaduna residents and ensuring inclusive development.”
President Tinubu will also serve as special guest of honour at a grand civic reception in his honour scheduled to take place at Murtala Square later in the day.
The visit marks the President’s continued engagement with state-level development initiatives across the country since assuming office.
