South African music sensation Tyla Laura Seethal, popularly known as Tyla, is set to make history as the first African to host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

The organisers announced her as the host of the 2025 edition of the iconic show, which will take place on 21 June at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

Tyla, who recently won a Grammy Award, also earned two nominations this year: Favourite Global Music Star and Favourite Music Collaboration for Show Me Love, her track with WizTheMc and Bees & Honey.
