The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has commenced the disbursement of April 2025 upkeep allowances to eligible student beneficiaries nationwide.
In a statement issued by the Fund’s Director of Strategic Communications, Mrs Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, it was noted that while the majority of payments have been successfully processed, a small number of students may experience slight delays due to a recent upgrade of the agency’s payment and application processing systems.
“The system upgrade is designed to enhance security and improve the efficiency of future disbursement cycles,” she explained.
