To bolster Nigeria’s innovation landscape, the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) has entered into a partnership with Envision Management Solutions Ltd., the Nigerian arm of the Canada-based Envision Group.
According to a statement by Reuben Shagu, Head of Information and Public Relations at NBTI, the collaboration is expected to open up new opportunities for indigenous enterprises by facilitating access to funding, international networks, and world-class capacity-building programmes.
The partnership directly aligns with NBTI’s mandate to foster innovation and support the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country through its network of Technology Incubation Centres (TICs).
Describing the initiative as a transformative step forward, NBTI Director General, Dr Kazeem Kolawole Raji, stated that the move supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Federal Government’s “Nigeria First” policy.
“This partnership is a game-changer. It introduces global expertise and renewed momentum into our innovation space. We are building a more dynamic, inclusive, and sustainable ecosystem empowering Nigerian entrepreneurs with the tools and support to thrive locally and compete globally,” Dr Raji said.
He further reaffirmed NBTI’s commitment to leading public sector innovation through transparent governance, institutional excellence, and strategic partnerships that deliver measurable impact.
