Afrobeats star Daniel Anidugbe, professionally known as Kizz Daniel, has regained ownership of the masters for his debut album New Era from his former record label, G-Worldwide.
Announcing the development on his X handle on Monday, the singer also disclosed that he had retrieved the masters of his hit singles Yeba and Sofa.
“From long nights in the studio to several meditations, finally, I now own every song on the New Era album 2016 + Yeba & Sofa (singles),” he wrote.
“I got my masters back. This means more than words can explain. Thank you for riding with me. #NewEra #MyCatalog #Grateful.”

New Era was released on 14 May 2016 under G-Worldwide. In November 2017, Kizz Daniel parted ways with the label and launched his own imprint, Flyboy I.N.C. Following his departure, he was sued by label boss Emperor Geezy but was eventually acquitted of all charges.
In 2023, in a surprising turn of events, Kizz Daniel appointed Emperor Geezy as the Chief Executive Officer of Flyboy I.N.C.
