Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has earned yet another SNEP Platinum certification in France, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious international career.
The latest certification comes from his feature on We Pray, a 2024 single by British rock band Coldplay, which also includes appearances from Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini. The track was one of the lead singles from Coldplay’s album Moon Music.
This achievement brings Burna Boy’s total number of platinum-certified songs in France to ten, following the recent certification of his solo hit City Boy. He continues to hold the record as the most certified Nigerian artist in France further cementing his reputation as a global icon.
We Pray has enjoyed commercial success, particularly in France, where Burna Boy made history in 2024 by becoming the first African artist to headline and sell out the 80,000-capacity Stade de France. That same year, he also became the first artist to grace the cover of Billboard France Magazine, a testament to his growing influence in the European market.

Among his accolades in France are the diamond-certified Last Last and On The Low, along with platinum awards for Gbona, Ye, and City Boy. His singles Alone, For My Hand (featuring Ed Sheeran), and Anybody have each achieved gold status.
In addition, Burna Boy recently received another platinum plaque for Donne-Moi L’accord, a collaboration with French star Dadju.
Looking ahead, the 10-time Grammy nominee is preparing for a busy 2025 with the upcoming release of his eighth studio album No Sign of Weakness. He has already released five singles in anticipation of the project, the most recent being Tatata, a Brazilian funk-inspired track featuring American rapper Travis Scott.
With this forthcoming album, Burna Boy aims to continue his streak of Grammy nominations each of his last four albums has earned a nod, and expand his record as the first Nigerian artist to have three albums surpass 500 million streams on Spotify.
