The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Professor Sunny Tyoden, former Deputy Governor of Plateau State.

In a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC described Professor Tyoden as a distinguished academic and public servant whose contributions to both scholarship and governance were exceptional.

“Until his passing, Professor Sunny Tyoden was a renowned scholar and Professor of Political Economy. A former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, his remarkable academic legacy and intellectual contributions remain deeply inspiring,” Morka said.
