LG Elections: Lagos APC Constitutes Electoral Committee

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has set up an electoral committee to oversee the conduct of primaries ahead of the Local Government elections scheduled for 12 July.

The party’s spokesman, Mr Seye Oladejo, announced this in a statement issued in Lagos.

He named a former party National Legal Adviser, Mr Babatunde Ogala, Chairman of the committee, while Mr Babarinde Nurudeen was appointed Secretary.

“The committee is mandated to oversee all activities and processes leading to the conduct of the elections for grassroots positions,” Oladejo stated.

He added that the party had taken into account the extensive experience of the appointees in making the decision, expressing confidence in their ability to deliver on the important assignment.

“We urge all members and stakeholders to provide the necessary support and cooperation to ensure our collective success,” Oladejo concluded.
