Amusan Sets New 100m Hurdles Record at Rabat

Nigerian sprint hurdler Tobi Amusan claimed a commanding victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Rabat Diamond League on Sunday, setting a new meet record of 12.45 seconds.

Her winning time surpassed the previous meet record of 12.51 seconds, held by American Brianna McNeal since 2018, marking a remarkable feat for the 2022 World Champion and world record holder.

The race, held shortly before the main broadcast of the event, saw Amusan pull away decisively from the field. Her time also stands as her season’s best (SB).
