Team Brazil Clinches E1 Lagos Grand Prix Title

Team Brazil, supported by the Claure Group, clinched their first-ever victory in the all-electric powerboat series after triumphing at the E1 Lagos Grand Prix on Sunday.

Led by pilot Timmy Hansen, the team dominated from start to finish, winning the group stages, race-offs, and the grand finale at the Lagos Lagoon.

Team Blue Rising claimed second place, while Team Drogba completed the podium in third.

Championship frontrunners Team Rafa and Team Brady, who had previously been battling for the top spot, failed to make the podium this time.

The Lagos victory earned Team Brazil 38 points, bringing their total to 89 and keeping their title hopes alive ahead of the season finale in Miami.

The Lagos Grand Prix also marked a historic milestone as Africa hosted the world’s first all-electric powerboat championship for the first time.

As the penultimate round of the season, the Lagos event has set the stage for an electrifying title decider in Miami.
