The Senate on Thursday screened and confirmed Dr Bernard Mohammed Doro as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Dr Doro, from Plateau State, was nominated last week by President Bola Tinubu.
A seasoned professional, he holds degrees in Pharmacy and Law, as well as master’s degrees in Business Strategy and Advanced Clinical Practice.
His confirmation makes him the third person from Plateau State to be appointed minister under the current administration.
Simon Lalong was the first to be appointed before later proceeding to the Senate after winning a court case, while Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, who succeeded him, vacated the ministerial seat following his appointment as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
