Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has announced the release of his first single of 2026, titled “TEA”, which is set to drop on Friday.
The award-winning singer unveiled a 26-second teaser of the track on his verified X account on Wednesday, captioning the post simply: “TEA Friday.”
The preview shows the Calm Down hitmaker riding a motorcycle at dusk while offering fans a glimpse of the new song, which was produced by acclaimed American music producer Mustard.
The announcement has generated widespread excitement on social media, with fans eagerly anticipating the collaboration between the Nigerian superstar and the U.S. producer.

The release of “TEA” marks Rema’s first musical offering of the year and comes after a series of international successes that have further cemented his place as one of Afrobeats’ biggest global exports.
Born in Benin City, Rema rose to prominence after signing with Jonzing World in 2019 and has since built an impressive international profile. His debut album, Rave & Roses, released in 2022, produced the global smash hit Calm Down, while his second studio album, HEIS, followed in 2024.
The forthcoming single also follows the release of “Goals”, the official soundtrack for the FIFA World Cup 2026, reinforcing the singer’s growing influence on the global music scene.
