President Bola Tinubu has felicitated Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, representing Zamfara West, on his 58th birthday, describing him as an effective grassroots mobiliser and committed party loyalist.
Tinubu, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, on Monday in Abuja, praised Yari’s political experience and organisational skills, saying they had continued to contribute to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the country.
Yari, who is the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, served as governor of Zamfara from 2011 to 2019.

During his tenure as governor, he also chaired the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, where he helped coordinate the interests of state governors and promote unity among them.
The President commended Yari’s current role in leading the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s efforts to highlight the administration’s Renewed Hope achievements and reforms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Tinubu described Yari as a resilient and dedicated politician who remained committed to the progressive ideals of the APC.
He prayed that Almighty Allah would bless Yari with many more years of good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving his constituents, the party and the nation.
