The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has unveiled its 2027 Campaign Council, bringing together senior party leaders and political stakeholders to coordinate its activities across the state ahead of the general elections.
The council, announced by the state chairman, Yemi Sanusi, will oversee the party’s campaign and mobilisation efforts across Ogun’s 20 Local Government Areas.
Governor Dapo Abiodun will serve as Chairman of the Campaign Council, while the party’s governorship candidate, Sen. Solomon Adeola, will be Co-Chairman. Former Senator Lekan Mustapha was appointed Director-General.
Former governor Olusegun Osoba is the Grand Patron, while former governors Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun are Deputy Grand Patrons.

Sanusi said the council comprises various committees responsible for grassroots mobilisation, media and publicity, logistics, stakeholder engagement, youth and women affairs, as well as contact and mobilisation.
He said the structure was designed to strengthen the party’s organisation and ensure effective coordination of its campaign activities across the state.
The campaign council will support the APC’s preparations for the presidential, governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly elections.
Sanusi urged members of the council to work together in carrying out their assigned responsibilities and coordinating the party’s campaign activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
The campaign structure includes representatives from the state’s three senatorial districts and committees responsible for various aspects of the party’s mobilisation and campaign operations.
