The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in partnership with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), QNA, and other key public and private sector stakeholders, has officially unveiled plans to host the inaugural National Cybersecurity Conference 2025.

The announcement was made during a press conference held at NITDA’s headquarters in Abuja.
Scheduled for 9–10 July 2025 at the Abuja Continental Hotel, the event will focus on the theme, “Building a Resilient Digital Future.” The conference is expected to address the urgent need for enhanced cybersecurity in the face of growing digital threats and an increasingly interconnected world.

The two-day gathering will convene policymakers, cybersecurity professionals, international experts, and industry leaders from Nigeria, across Africa, and beyond. According to organisers, the conference supports President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritises national security as a foundation for sustainable peace and prosperity.
By fostering collaboration and innovation in cybersecurity, the event aims to position Nigeria as a leading voice in shaping a secure digital future for the continent.
