Veteran US civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson has been released from a Chicago hospital, his family announced on Sunday.
Jackson, 83, had been receiving medical care for an undisclosed condition, but relatives said he is now recovering well and has been discharged to continue his recuperation at home.
In a brief statement, the family expressed gratitude to medical staff for their support and asked for continued prayers during his recovery period.
