Infinix Nigeria has proudly showcased its support for local gaming talent by participating in the Gamers Assembly 2025, held in Poitiers, France, from April 19 to 21.
The event saw 14 Nigerian video game and esports companies, including Infinix, take part in this prestigious international gaming gathering, highlighting Nigeria’s growing influence in the global gaming industry.
The Nigerian delegation, sponsored by the French Embassy in Nigeria, featured notable companies such as 10N8E, AfricaComicade, Deluxe Creation Studios, Game Evolution Partners, Gamr, Kon10dr, Kucheza Gaming, Maliyo Games, and Xane Studios, alongside professional esports players. Their involvement at the event served as a powerful testament to the dynamic and rapidly developing Nigerian gaming sector.
In addition to exhibiting their work, four of the participating Nigerian companies undertook an immersive 10-day internship at the event. The internship provided valuable hands-on experience in key areas such as event project management, exhibition coordination, content creation, television production, and technical operations.

Désiré Koussawo, Honorary President of Association Futurolan (Gamers Assembly), expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “This is an exciting moment for the Nigerian video games industry.”
Christophe Pecot, the audiovisual attaché of the French Embassy in Nigeria, also praised the initiative, stating, “France has a rich history in video game development and esports, and this initiative is a tangible step toward fostering stronger economic and creative collaboration between both countries.”
