The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) has raised alarm over the abduction of several civil servants near Kabba, Kogi State. The officers were reportedly travelling to Abuja to take part in the ongoing Computer-Based Test (CBT) promotion examinations conducted by the Federal Civil Service Commission.
In a statement signed by Mrs Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations at OHCSF, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Didi Esther Walson-Jack, conveyed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity on behalf of the entire Federal Civil Service and the wider Public Service family. She extended support to the abducted officers, their families, and colleagues across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
The HCSF expressed confidence in security agencies to ensure the swift and safe rescue of the abducted civil servants while urging civil servants and members of the public to remain calm and vigilant.

Walson-Jack reaffirmed the Federal Civil Service’s commitment to the welfare, safety, and well-being of its workforce, stating: “The thoughts and prayers of the Service are with the affected officers and their families during this difficult time.”
She added: “The Service stands united as one family in faith, hope, and solidarity praying earnestly for the safe and speedy return of our colleagues, whose safety and well-being remain our utmost priority.”
