Netflix Secures 2030 World Cup Broadcast Rights in Spain

Netflix has secured the broadcasting rights for the 2030 FIFA World Cup in Spain and Andorra, marking its first coverage of a major men’s international football tournament in Spain.

The streaming platform announced the deal on Tuesday, saying it would cover all 104 matches of the tournament.

Under the agreement, one match per matchday will be available free of charge in Spain through a national free-to-air broadcaster, Netflix said in a statement.

Spain’s national broadcaster, RTVE, aired the 2026 World Cup.

Netflix has also secured the rights to broadcast the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil and the 2031 edition, which will be hosted by the United States and Canada.

The agreement expands Netflix’s involvement in international football broadcasting as streaming platforms compete for major sporting events.
