Nigeria, Germany Renew Commitment to Stronger Bilateral Ties

Nigeria and Germany have pledged to deepen their longstanding partnership by expanding cooperation in trade and investment, education, culture, innovation, regional security and people-to-people relations.

The commitment was made when Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany, Ita Solomon Enang, received Germany’s Ambassador-designate to Nigeria, Stefan Roessel, at the Nigerian Embassy in Berlin.

According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa, Enang presented Roessel with his diplomatic visa ahead of his assumption of duty in Abuja.

The meeting focused on strengthening existing bilateral ties and identifying new areas of cooperation that could deliver mutual benefits to both countries.
