The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi as its State Chairman, following a consensus vote at the party congress.
Pastor Ojelabi was re-elected alongside 25 other executive members during the Lagos State party congress held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan. The outcome reflected unity within the party and strong support for the current leadership team.
In his acceptance address, Pastor Ojelabi thanked party leaders for their confidence and pledged to work tirelessly to maintain peace and cohesion within the APC. He assured members that the executive would uphold discipline, strengthen the party’s influence in Lagos politics, and collaborate closely with the national leadership to achieve the APC’s objectives.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who attended the event, praised the smooth conduct of the congress, describing Lagos APC’s organisational structure as exemplary nationwide. He emphasised that the process demonstrated the party’s dominance and unity in the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also acknowledged President Bola Tinubu and the Governor’s Advisory Council, led by Prince Tajudeen Olusi, for their guidance and counsel, which he said were instrumental in ensuring a peaceful and successful congress.
