President Bola Tinubu has approved new appointments in key government agencies, signaling a reshuffle in strategic leadership positions.
Musa Sarkin Adar, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), has been redeployed, while Mukhtar Shehu Shagari has been appointed as the new Chairman of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA).
In a statement, President Tinubu urged the newly appointed officials to demonstrate patriotism and leverage their experience to drive transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery across their respective agencies.
The appointments take immediate effect.
