Kano Pillars Appoint Babaganaru Acting Technical Adviser

The management of Kano Pillars Football Club has appointed Muhammad Babaganaru as the acting Technical Adviser, following the suspension of the club’s Technical Adviser, Evans Ogenyi, and Chief Coach, Ahmed Garba, over poor performance in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the club’s Media and Communications Directorate in Kano, the management said Babaganaru’s appointment takes immediate effect, expressing confidence in his ability to restore the team’s form and lead them to better results.

“We wish coach Babaganaru success in his new role as he leads the team in the upcoming fixtures,” the statement read.

Babaganaru, who previously managed Kano Pillars, is credited with guiding the club to two Premier League titles. His return is expected to stabilise the technical department and rekindle morale among players and supporters.

The appointment comes as Kano Pillars continue preparations for their next ten league matches to be played in Katsina, following an NPFL-imposed suspension over crowd disturbances during their clash with Shooting Stars.
