Rep. Oseni Mobilises Support for Tinubu 2027

Rep. Aderemi Oseni (APC–Ido/Ibarapa East) has initiated a strategic mobilisation effort in support of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign, with the launch of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF) across all 33 local government areas of Oyo State.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Ibadan, Oseni described ROCOF as a non-political, non-religious movement aimed at driving positive change.

He outlined the group’s six-point agenda, with a key objective being the successful delivery of Oyo State for President Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

“We must rally round the president. We must support and partner with Mr President in this transformative journey,” he said.

The lawmaker, who is also a governorship aspirant, urged ROCOF members to mobilise grassroots support to restore APC’s leadership in the state, come 2027.

“The next governor of Oyo State must be from APC. Oyo State cannot afford to remain in the opposition in 2027.

“As we approach 2027, we cannot afford to repeat the mistake of 2023. Our souls have seen the consequences of being on a political sideline.

“Instead, we must harness the ‘collectiveness’ of ROCOF Assembly to ensure that we are not only supporting the right, credible and most generally acceptable candidate, but also actively engaging our communities to vote massively for APC candidates at all levels,” he said.

The ROCOF Director-General, Chief Yemi Aderibigbe, in his remarks, encouraged leaders to form council-level structures for easier coordination and massive grassroots support.

Aderibigbe said that ROCOF was formed to realise the six-point agenda and back Remi Oseni’s political aspiration.

“ROCOF is for genuity; ROCOF is people-friendly; ROCOF is focused; ROCOF is here to liberate the people of Oyo State.

“If you are with us, please stay with us and if you don’t want to stay with us, please after today’s programme, tell us you don’t want to stay with us. All we want is 100 per cent loyalty,” he said.

The event was attended by several notable political leaders and members of APC from all the 33 local government areas of the state.
