FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has inaugurated the Care365 Innovation System to improve healthcare access for residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Speaking at the inauguration on Tuesday in Abuja, Wike pledged the FCT Administration’s (FCTA) commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance the well-being and living standards of residents.
Represented by the Minister of State for FCT, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, Wike said the administration would provide the necessary support for the successful implementation of Care365 in the territory.
“This administration believes that Care365 will help reduce healthcare disparities by providing accessible services and improving health outcomes for FCT residents. We also believe that this innovation, with its user-friendly interface and seamless virtual consultations, will enhance patients’ experience and satisfaction.
“The cutting-edge healthcare solution is a testament to the power of innovation and collaboration in transforming the healthcare system,” he said.

Wike commended retired Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar and other stakeholders for their efforts in bringing the initiative to the country and urged stakeholders to work together to ensure its successful rollout.
Earlier, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Care365 Innovation System in Nigeria, Ngozi Odumuko, gave an overview of the initiative.
He explained that Care365 is a comprehensive healthcare platform that incorporates the Care365 Health Monitoring Kiosk, Care365 Mobile Clinic, Care365 Health Hub Telemedicine Mobile and Web App, as well as a Specialist Doctors Pool.
Odumuko said the four components were designed to revolutionise healthcare access and delivery in Nigeria.
