President Tinubu has clinched the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket for the 2027 general elections, defeating his sole challenger, Stanley Osifo, in the party’s nationwide direct primary election with a total of 10,999,162 votes.
Senetor Pius Anyim,who supervised the nationwide collation process announced the official results at the national collation centre at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, where the APC Presidential Primary Election Committee held.
According to Anyim, registered members are 12,643,306 while 11, 069,756 voters were accredited to participate in the nation wide primaries.
The party chieftain declared that President Tinubu won in all the polls nationwide and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), securing all valid votes cast.
