Sinner Beats Auger‑Aliassime to Capture Paris Masters Title

Italy’s Jannik Sinner captured his first-ever title at the Paris Masters on Sunday, defeating Canada’s Felix Auger‑Aliassime 6‑4, 7‑6(4) and reclaiming the world number one ranking.

Sinner delivered a dominant performance, dropping no sets throughout the tournament and extending his indoor hard-court winning streak to 26 matches. He overhauled Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz atop the ATP rankings with the victory.

“It’s huge, honestly. It was such an intense final… I’m extremely happy,” Sinner said after lifting the trophy.

The result not only marks his fifth title of 2025 but also positions him strongly ahead of the ATP Finals, where he will now enter as world number one.
