President Tinubu Receives Amir of Qatar’s Delegation in Abuja

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday received the Special Envoy of the Amir of the State of Qatar at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic relations with the Gulf nation.

The delegation from Qatar, led by Abdulla Saad Al Rumaihi, included Mohammed Bin Thamer Al Thani, Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bin AbdulAziz, and the Qatari Ambassador to Nigeria, Ali Ghanem Al-Hajri.

The visit, which took place shortly after the Jumaat prayer, was aimed at deepening bilateral ties and exploring new areas of cooperation between both countries.

President Tinubu was joined by top government officials, including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu; Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris; and Minister of State for Finance, Doris Uzoka-Anite.
