President Bola Tinubu on Sunday hosted the Commander of the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM), Gen. Dagvin Anderson, and his delegation at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting was attended by the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, alongside Nigeria’s Service Chiefs.
Also present was the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Nigeria, Mr Keith Heffern.
Discussions centred on deepening Nigeria–United States relations, with particular emphasis on security collaboration and regional stability.
The engagement also reviewed ongoing joint efforts aimed at addressing shared security challenges across the African continent.
