The North-West Zonal Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Malam Hamisu Mayere, on Monday led a delegation on a working visit to the Federal Information Resource Centre in Kaduna.
Mayere stated that the visit was part of NOA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships and foster synergy with other government institutions to enhance public enlightenment, sensitisation, and mobilisation.
He noted that NOA has a widespread presence and a broad mandate, making collaboration with agencies within the ministry both strategic and necessary.
The Zonal Director outlined various NOA programmes and initiatives, all aimed at deepening public understanding of Federal Government policies, programmes, and activities.

He called for the centre’s support to help the agency effectively fulfil its mandate.
Also speaking, the Kaduna State Director of NOA, Mr Danjuma Makama, proposed the formation of a joint committee comprising staff from both organisations to identify areas for collaboration on public enlightenment.
He expressed readiness to foster a productive and long-term partnership.
In her response, the Director of the Centre, Hajiya Rabi Rufa’i, welcomed the visit and assured the delegation of the centre’s support whenever needed.
She also agreed on the need to establish a joint committee to facilitate cooperation between the two bodies.
A highlight of the visit was the presentation of NOA publications to the Centre Director.
 The Zonal Director was accompanied by the Assistant Director, Media and Communications, NOA Kaduna Directorate, Ms Linda Michaels, and the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Argungu.
