The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), in partnership with Autodex Nigeria Limited, has announced the second edition of the Farm, Food and Allied Technology (FARMFATECH) Expo 2025, designed to promote agricultural innovation, mechanisation, and food security across Africa.
Scheduled to hold from 10 to 12 November 2025 in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, the three-day event is expected to attract over 500 exhibitors, 76 participating countries, and more than half a million visitors.
President of the Chamber, Dr. Emeka Obegolu, described the Expo as a “gateway to modern agribusiness partnerships” that will connect local and international stakeholders in the agricultural value chain.
“This year’s Expo reinforces our vision to deepen collaboration between Nigeria, China, and other global partners in advancing agricultural innovation and sustainability,” he said.
Represented by the Director General of ACCI, Mr. Agabaidu Chukwuemeka Jideani, Obegolu reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to economic diversification and industrial growth, noting that agriculture remains central to Nigeria’s sustainable development strategy.
“Our passion for the growth of Nigeria’s agricultural sector is at the heart of this Expo,” he added. “We believe it will enhance productivity, strengthen food security, and create employment opportunities across the value chain.”
Managing Director of Autodex Nigeria Limited, Mr. Tony Ifeakandu, stressed the company’s focus on equipping Nigerian farmers with the technology needed to increase productivity and expand access to markets.
“At Autodex, we believe food security is inseparable from productive mechanisation and smart logistics,” he said, adding that the company is developing battery-swap and charging infrastructure to support agro-mechanisation and reliable field-to-market systems.
“Through innovations in mobility and mechanisation, we are supporting the future of contract farming, improved seed systems, and good agricultural practices, all anchored on world-class technology,” Ifeakandu explained.
Autodex, a technical partner and co-organiser of the event, will showcase its innovations in hybrid combustion and electric vehicles tailored for agriculture, including tricycles, motorbikes, and utility vehicles.
Supported by Afreximbank and other partners, FARMFATECH 2025 will spotlight cutting-edge agro-mechanisation and food processing technologies, opening new avenues for investment, trade, and sustainable agribusiness growth across the continent.
