The Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, has called on residents to come out in mass and vote for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 12 July local government polls.
Akinloye made the call in an interview in Eredo-Epe, on Tuesday in Epe, emphasising the importance of voter turnout and the need to ensure continuity for the delivery of more democratic dividends at the grassroots.
Akinloye noted that the APC had consistently demonstrated commitment to grassroots development through people-oriented policies, infrastructure renewal, and youth empowerment programmes across the state and beyond.

According to him, APC remains the only party with programmes and political will to drive sustainable progress at the grassroots. He urged residents to see the upcoming elections as an opportunity to deepen democracy and strengthen local governance.
“Our communities have witnessed significant transformation under the APC-led administration, and we must not reverse the gains we have made,” he said.
Akinloye also appealed to traditional rulers, community leaders, market women, youth groups, and civil society organisations in the Eredo to mobilise support for the party and enlighten residents on the importance of civic participation.
He said the council was working with relevant stakeholders to ensure a peaceful, free, and credible election in the council area.
