The launch was performed by the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Politics, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir-Masari.
The publication highlights Katsina indigenes who have contributed in various capacities to the development of the state and Nigeria as a whole.
Governor Dikko Radda, in his remarks, urged residents especially young people to read the book and draw lessons from the lives of those profiled.
“This is not just a book, but something to hold dearly close to our hearts with a view to studying it, learning from it, and emulating the works and good values of these eminent personalities from the state. My hope and prayer is for us to make good use of this book, and also make it available to our younger ones, so that they will learn some lessons from it,” he said.
Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abdullahi Garba-Faskari, described the book as “an important document because it is inspirational and intended to bring about inspiration and motivation.”
The reviewer, Dr Aliyu Rabiu-Kurfi, noted that as Katsina recently marked its 38th anniversary, the 600-page compendium stands as “a testament to the collective striving of its people and their enduring capacity to inspire, lead, and be remembered.”
