Cameroon defender Jackson Tchatchoua, hailed as the fastest player in Serie A last season, has signed for Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers from Italian club Hellas Verona on a five-year contract.
Wolves said the deal for the Belgium-born right wing-back includes a 12-month extension option. No financial details were disclosed, but the BBC reported the fee at €12.5 million ($14.57 million).

Tchatchoua, 23, clocked a top speed of 36.3kph last season and registered two goals and three assists. He becomes Wolves’ fourth signing of the transfer window.
“The Premier League is one of my dreams and it’s a step I wanted to take in my life. The history of the club, the stadium, and the fans convinced me,” Tchatchoua said.
